Bonchinches / The Gossips
Gossip! Scandal! Child rearing! Welcome to New York City window culture! Bonchinches / The Gossips, is a single channel video installation comprised of several short vignettes unique to the NYC. A Single mother, a fast girl, a scorned lover, and a plain old voyeur, all hold court over their respective neighbourhoods via the window. While many of characters straddle the line between public and private space, the viewer learns about many of their day-to-day struggles and desires.
